So it's long past due for a real entry.  Luckily, I've got insomnia and late at night is the best time to write.

It's hot as the seventh layer of hell and will be bumped up a few degrees tomorrow.  My parents have not installed the air conditioner yet and I am too lazy to do it myself not to mention that the machine probably weighs more than I do.  How am I keeping cool?  I discovered frozen pudding and I have dreamsicles (500 brownie points to whoever can tell me where that's from)!

So I've been away from xanga for quite a long time although I check my subscriptions now and then to see what's going on to old friends/blogring members etc.  Wtf is with this tracker thing?  All of a sudden everyone has a friggin tracker, what's with that?  Everyone's writing about how upset they are at people from unknown IP addresses reading their xangas and frankly, I think it's pretty stupid.  If someone was reading my xanga whether they stumbled upon it by mistake or they really wanted to check on what's going on in my life, I'd be flattered.  Hey thanks for reading my blog, I know it's probably incredibly stupid and dull, but I like to think that I'm keeping you entertained for at least 3 minutes.  What are these xanga tracker things?  Do I have one?  I'm almost afraid to click on people's xangas to read them because then they'll know that I'm reading and not commenting.  Maybe they know that I'm reading anyway.  Well I'm only reading because we probably don't talk and it's sad that xanga keeps us better informed in other people's lives than other forms of communication.  But this tracker thing, I think it's pretty stupid.  I'd like to read xangas without fear of having people think I'm some sort of psycho-stalker.  I'm only reading because I care! or I'm bored and you're on my list....

I haven't writting anything about how my freshmen year was so I thought I should put a little something here.  It was great, I really started to enjoy college in my second semester than in my first where I did nothing but sleep most of the time.  Actually, I did a lot of that this semester too but this semester, I became a bridge troll.  I did learn in the classes that I went to and I've gotta give credit to my lit professor who came out to us, he would probably be really cool to hang out with if he wasn't a jaded stockbrocker.  My most favorite class was Acting I, oh the memories.  I will miss that class very much, I wish that all my classmates could move onto Acting II at the same time with me.  Met some great theater buddies in that class, maybe we'll collaborate again and produce something off-off-off-off-off broadway.

I forgot what I wanted to write here but since my train of thought has ended, this would be the perfect place to stop.  Just one last thing...Happy Birthday to Andrew!!!  Ha ha old man, come back home soon so we can go play some frisbee/volleyball!

Ok so because I'm bored; it's halfway past 2 AM; there's no sign of me falling asleep anytime soon; and the World Cup just ended...I only have one thing to say...

Vive le France!

Zadine, that sucked and I was disappointed in you; you left on a shameful note.

I'll be back to post a real entry soon.

More random Wednesday silliness and chats...

Annie: "I don't believe in deli."
Alexi: "How can you not believe in deli?  It's not like it's a religion."
Annie: "I just don't."
Alexi: "Well what do you call sandwiches?"
Annie: "I don't acknowledge their presence."

Alexi: "Hey, you look like someone I know."
Lawrence: "Yea, we met like four times already."
Alexi: "Really?  I'm sure I would remember you."
Lawrence: "You said that the last time I met you."

Philip: "Hi, I'm Philip."
Alexi: "Hi, I'm Alexi."
Jake: "You two met before."
Philip: "We have?"
Jake: "Yea, I introduced you."

Ariel: "Sorry guys, I can't hang out with you today; I have to go be Jewish!"

Daigoro dips his fried noodle into sauce.
Alexi: "Did you just double dip?"
Daigoro: "Yea, so what?"
Alexi: "You can't double dip!"
Daigoro: "Why?"
Alexi: "Well, you might as well just like spit in the bowl!"
Nestor: "Why not?"

Annie: "I have a really fucked up sense of humor, this is my view on Sesame Street: Big Bird is a drug dealer, Elmo markets child porn, Bert and Ernie have an abusive homosexual relationship, and the Count is a pimp who counts his bitches 'I have ONE bitch, TWO bitch, THREE bitch, THREE bitches ha ha ha.'"

Taylor: "I wanna go to the Rainbow Room (the Gay-Straight Alliance room) to play games but I don't wanna go in there alone."
Alexi: "Yea, I feel weird going in there by myself too.  It's like I need a gay person as my ticket in there."

Alexi: "Let's take the elevator."
Jake: "No, let's take the stairs.  You know, they should put a stairmaster on the moon."
Alexi: "Why would they do that?"
Jake: "Cuz Jesus lives there."
Alexi: "Jesus doesn't live on the moon, he lives here with us - people."
Jake: "Well people have been on the moon."
Alexi: "Why would Jesus need a stairmaster anyway?"
Jake: "To exercise."
Alexi: "He's not fat."
Jake: "You don't know that."
Alexi: "Maybe he's like really a thousand pounds but no one will say anything because he's Jesus and he'll go tell his father."
Jake: "Yea and he goes 'Does this loincloth make me look fat?' 'No Jesus, you look great, man.'"

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Second next to Christmas and my birthday (it's right up on the Christmas tier), Valentine's Day is most definitely one of my favorite holidays.  Unlike the Valentine haters whom I think are just bitter because they feel left out and have no one, I love Valentine's Day so much.  As dorky as it sounds, I love love.  I'm happy for those who can find it, understand it, or just share it.  Valentine's Day should be about the true expression of love.  Of course there are those who say that there shouldn't be a special holiday just to express your love to someone.  My reponse to that is that one day shouldn't be the only day you tell someone you love them but it's a great opportunity to.  I see it as a celebration of love; j'adore l'amour.

Today, I made cookies for all my friends. =)  David is the Simon Cowell of just everything so he gets no love from me.  My secret valentine (aka my biggest secret non-crush) didn't come to class today so I was disappointed. =(  But I didn't let that ruin my day, I hung out with people and got free stuff.  So again, Happy Valentine's day to all whether you've got someone special or not, spread the love in a non-STD way. =)

Wheeee I had a great first day back despite the freezing weather!  It's so great to be back with people my age instead of eight year olds.  I had physical geography with a certain someone and Lisamarie, a little too early in the morning for my taste but whatever the company makes up for it. =)  I bought my books for three subjects and ran into someone I thought I would never see again since junior high.  I think I'm gonna really like English 220, we're gonna be reading Dracula, Poe, Hamlet, and Brokeback Mountain.  I already did the first three in high school so this should be easy peasy.  I felt awkward in precalculus because I don't know anyone in that class and everyone seems like they're either a sophomore or a junior.  The professor seems fun though, she used to be a ballet dancer not that that means anything.  I think I'm gonna really like this semester.

So this is the third week since I've moved to the new house.  It's really nice and much bigger than the old house.  I finally have my room set up and got my high speed internet back.  *hugs modem*  Just hours ago, I baked my first batch of cookies from scratch all by myself! =D  Serena, I did it all by myself!!!  I'll save one for you, my cooking guru!  Tomorrow, off to acting class and history class with David and Greg.  And happy chinese/lunar new year everyone!

[edit]
I love my acting class!  It's super awesome!  Everyone's new except for Josh and we quickly bonded over a game of "What Are You Doing?"   History class...I didn't know anyone until I went downstairs to buy the book and we all grouped together to find it.  It's too bad I have the bad habit of not introducing myself to people so I don't know their names and they don't know mine, I've also forgotten what they look like.  Physical Geography lecture was majorlyboring, Jason and I fell asleep on the first day.  It's just like Media class, I have Jill, Lisa, and Jason with me.  I'm lovin this new semester! =D
